Villaseñor has fought multiple elite fighters including Jacaré Souza, Robbie Lawler, Phil Baroni and Murilo "Ninja" Rua and is one of the founding members of the Jackson/Winkeljohn Fight Team. The Rumble in Rio is back next month on October 22 at the Bosque Event Center at the Santa Ana Star Casino. The annual show features amateur boxers representing various fire and police departments from around the state, but the ultimate winners are the kids of New Mexico many of whom will receive a new bicycle from the proceeds of this charity event. Returning for the eighth time, the recurring event is organized as a fundraiser for the Jim Franklin Bike Giveaway Program which provides bicycles to underpriviledged youth around the state.
