Michelle Waterson Confident for Jackson's MMA Series VII Main Event Against Diana Rael
Michelle “Karate Hottie” Waterson is slated as the main event for the upcoming Jackson’s MMA Series VII, scheduled to take place at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Albuquerque, NM, on January 21, 2012.
She will be facing the very tough Diana “Dynamite” Rael who recently handed the previously unbeaten Angelica Chavez her first loss at MMA Fight Pit – Genesis in August.
Waterson (8-3, Jackson/Winkeljohn MMA) was practically raised to be a martial artist; she started learning karate at age 10, with local church instructor Charles Wood, until she earned her black belt in American Free Style Karate.

Donald Sanchez (23-12-0, FIT NHB), former King of the Cage Bantamweight World Champion, took a few moments to talk about his upcoming match against Chris “The Urban Legend” Culley (12-8-0, Joe “Daddy” Stevenson’s Millennia MMA), at King of the Cage “Night Stalker”, which takes place this Saturday, January 14, 7pm, at Buffalo Thunder Casino Resort, just outside of Santa Fe, NM.
The last year has had its ups and downs for Sanchez, winning two and losing two fights. Unsurprisingly, both wins were by submission in the first round as Sanchez is well-known for his dangerous ground-game, with 10 of his wins coming by submission. But Sanchez is desperate for rematches with both of those losses.
