Holly Holm Meets Anne Sophie Mathis as Boxing's Best Collide

On December 2, "The Preacher's Daughter" Holly Holm will face her stiffest challenge to date in the form of rangy power-punching Frenchwoman Anne Sophie Mathis. The records of the two pugilists are comparable, each posting only one loss, Holm 30-1-3 to Mathis' 25-1. Where they differ is in knockouts; Mathis has won 21 of her victories by knockout to Holm's 9 KO's.

Claim to who is the number one female fighter isn't the only thing on the line, IBA and WBAN championships will go to the winner as well as a fight against Cecilia Braekhus, the only other female boxer whose on par with Holm and Mathis. Braekhus is undefeated at 18-0.

This amazing main event will be preceded by seven pro and amateur bouts showcasing some of New Mexico's hottest prospects. Tickets for World Dominance are available through the Route 66 Legends Theatre box office or online. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the fights starting just an hour later.
