Absolute Grappling Grand Prix Set for Tomorrow at Wisconsin State Fair with Stacked Lineup of Grapplers (UPDATE)
The level of competition at tomorrow's Absolute Grappling Grand Prix is fierce. The 11 confirmed contestants include a number of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts, an Olympic wrestler and Bellator champion, a former Combat USA champion, and a host of talented grapplers. Set to take place at the Wisconsin State Fair on the Jeffrey Scott Activities Stage at 1 p.m., the North American Fighting Championship sponsored event is free for all competitors and awards a first place prize of $1,000 and a second place purse of $500. -

What We Learned From the Combat USA Tournament of 2011
Just over a week ago Combat USA wrapped up its first multi-state season that saw Jonatas Novaes, Andrew Trace, and David Sachs emerge as the 2011 organizational champions. In its second season under the tournament format Combat USA continued its run as one of the area's stronger promotions. Here are the four things we were able to take away from this year's competition.
