Now, Bobonis will get the chance of a lifetime when he meets Marcos da Matta at Bellator 50 on September 17.

However, Wisconsin's top-ranked 155-pound fighter informed US Combat Sports earlier today that what looked to be a broken bone turned out to be a dislocation and he expects to resume training shortly.

    Strikeforce Challengers continues to showcase their professional fighters on Showtime this Friday, July 22nd live from The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas, NV. The main event will be a rubber match between undefeated Roger Bowling and Bobby Voelker. Meeting for the first time in May 2010, the fight was finished midway into round three, declaring Bowling the winner by unanimous decision. The decision was met with criticism since the fight was stopped after Bowling received an unintentional eye poke forcing the scorecards to render an early decision.
