St. Pierre Vacates Title, Hendricks- Lawler to Determine New Champion
Georges St. Pierre has been embroiled in controversy since the announcement of his split decision victory over Johnny Hendricks at UFC 167 in Las Vegas. The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV will play host to what is being hyped as the bigest fight card inthe organization's history.UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman takes on former UFC champion and legend Anderson Silva. Weidman delivered a shocking boom to the jaw of Silva forcing his eyes to roll to the back of his head ending the fight. Instantly after Weidman was crowned the king of the middle weights, Silva fans were finding themselves in denial. Weidman improved to a perfect 10-0 record and dropped Silva to 33-5. -

As the end of the 2013 fight season approaches, Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva will enter the octagon for the second time on December 28. Before they shut the cage door for the main event, co-main event is for the Women’s Bantamweight title between Ronda Rousey and challenger Miesha Tate. The champion, Rousey is looking to defend her belt for the second time in the UFC. The co-main event will be a rematch between Tate (13-4) and Rousey (7-0) when they enter the cage for the belt. Cruz Outworks Peet at King of the Cage Future Legends 19
On SaturdayDec. 7, a packed house at the Eastside Cannery in Las Vegas, NV was treated to a great night of MMA action as King of the Cage presented their19th installment of Future Legends. In the fourth bout of the evening, welterweight JJ Torres brought the crowd to their feet with the methodical KO of crowd favorite Byron “Smash” Fields. Throughout most of the first round the two picked shots and threw quick combos at one another, barely missing the mark. After a low blow and short break, Fields came out letting his hands fly. Torres landed a clean counter and followed with a combination against the cage putting his opponent to sleep before he even hit the mat.
