NAFC: Raquel Magdanelo Headlines Card VS. Amanda Lovato In Milwaukee At The Rave
The main event scheduled for Friday night at the North American Fighting Championships (NAFC) will be a Super Brawl between two female athletes. Raquel Magdaleno of Roufusport takes on Amanda Lovato of Judgement MMA- Albuquerque, NM. The Strawweight (115-pounds) bout is the first women’s fight to head a NAFC card. Magdaleno is a Southern California native raised in the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) of Michigan. The strawweight currently resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.Add Comment -
NAFC: Christian Vazquez vs. Damien Childress: Battle Of Pro Debut's
One-half of Team Vazquez will jump into the cage Friday night for his professional debut. Christian Vazquez will be fighting fellow professional first timer Damien Childress. The two fighters are scheduled to battle on the North American Fighting Championships (NAFC) main card in Milwaukee. Vazquez fights out of Roufusport Academy in Milwaukee. His younger brother Kevin Vazquez will be fighting on the card as well in his second professional bout. Vazquez is excited about finally getting his career under way after his opponent bailed last minute on the last NAFC card. -
Sergio Pettis' Set Back In The UFC Will Become An Asset In The Long Run
Can a loss be turned into a win? Roufusport bantamweight fighter Sergio Pettis suffered his first career loss Saturday night in Chicago on the prelim card of UFC on Fox 10. Pettis nearly went three rounds with Alex “Bruce Lee Roy” Caceres before getting caught in a Rear Naked Choke with under thirty seconds remaining in the fight. Both fighters received “fight of the night” bonus for their display of courage put forth inside the octagon. Each fighter was awarded $50,000. Caceres was also awarded another $50,000 for “submission of the night”. -
NAFC: Larry Watson Set To Fight Matt Arnst In Highly Anticipated Bout!
The always exciting amateur fighter Larry Watson will return to the cage Friday, January 31, 2014. He joins several other Roufusport teammates on the fight card at the North American Fighting Championships (NAFC) in Milwaukee. Watson will be battling undefeated Matt Arnst of Illinois. Watson, 20, is coming off a big victory after suffering his first loss. The Brookfield East graduate continues to face top tier opponents. Matt Arnst is entering the fight with a perfect record of 6-0. A confident Watson isn’t fazed by Arnst on paper. -

This Sunday more Americans will consume chicken wings than on any other day of the year. According to the National Chicken Council’s 2014 Wing Report, 1.25 billion wings will be devoured during Super Bowl XLVIII, as fans watch the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos battle for the Lombardi Trophy, matching the record level of 2012. That is about 20 million more wings than were consumed last year during Super Bowl XLVII. -

Ring of Combat 47: Chris Wade Chokes Out Pat Defranco for Lightweight Belt
Friday night in Atlantic City, New Jersey Chris Wade of Long Island MMA finished Pat Defranco to bring home the Ring of Combat lightweight belt. The title fight for the vacant weight class was the main event of the evening. The Ring of Combat XLVII event was held in the Garden State at Tropicana Casino and Resort. The fights started at 8:30 EST. and were for purchase on GFL.TV. Pat Defranco (4-2) entered the fight with high expectations. The lightweight fights out of Serra-Longo on Long Island. Defranco entered into the bout with Wade on a two fight win streak. All six of his professional bouts have been with in the Ring of Combat organization. -
UFC On Fox 10: Milwaukee Invades Chicago as Pettis, Camus and Rhodes Set To Fight.

World renowned trainer Duke Rufous will be guiding three of his Spartans into battle at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. The tenth installment of UFC on Fox will jump off at 8 P.M. EST. on January 25, 2014. Sergio “The Phenom” Pettis, Chico “The King” Camus, and Mike “Biggie” Rhodes will enter the octagon on Fox Sports 1 for the Prelims.
