The Ultimate Fighter Recap: Joe Proctor Gives Team Faber Third Straight Win
Team Faber looked to continue its momentum after pulling even with Team Cruz on this week's episode of "The Ultimate Fighter". Faber's group sent one of its silent warriors, Joe Proctor, to step into the cage with Team Cruz's resident headcase, Chris Tickle.
This week's episode began with Tickle appearing slightly intoxicated during his teammate Jeremy Larsen's loss to Michael Chiesa on last week's episode, which drew the ire of Tickle's coach, UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz. However, Cruz and Tickle later had a heart-to-heart where Cruz determined that the best way for Tickle to be effective is for him to be himself, trash talking and all.
Cruz then decided to put his entire team through the wringer during the week's training sessions, which caused some heated moments between teammates Justin Lawrence and Mike Rio, who has been battling knee problems. Rio took umbrage with what he thought were unnecessary kicks thrown by Lawrence and caused the two to spar with each other a little more intensely than teammates generally do during training.
