  • College Wrestling: Big Ten Wrestling Championships Hardest In The Nation

    Leading up to the NCAA Division One championships, the Big Ten Tournament is arguably the toughest tournament in the nation. Last season Penn State won their second national championship after advancing five wrestlers into the finals and three of whom took home a crown. The Golden Gophers were runner-ups in the tournament last year. In the last six seasons a Big Ten team won the National championship and three out of the six years a Big Ten team was a runner-up. In the finals of the NCAA national championships, the Big Ten had 12 out of the 20 possible wrestlers in the finals. Six of them wrestled each other and out of the 12, seven went onto win a NCAA national championship.

    East Stroudsburg, PA’s, Team Chamber and AMA Fight Club of Whippany, N.J., fighter Rich Patishnock, recently signed to fight Igor Gracie (5-3) in Atlantic City, March 23 under the World Series of Fighting promotion. The WSOF 2 main eventis between two former UFC competitors, former heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski and Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson. Patishnock,( 4-1) alternates training between Chamber and AMA and said told USCS he would not be where he is if it were not for coaches at both camps and the entire training staff and teams at both locations.
