NCAA Wrestling National Championships: Dake and Taylor On Track To Meet In Finals At 165
March “MATness” kicked off this morning at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa; with the first round of intense crowd cheering action. Every wrestler that makes the NCAA national championships has one goal in mind, to win the title of their weight class. Returning national champions Kyle Dake, David Taylor, Ed Ruth all continued their quest towards another crown. Each weight class begins with 34 wrestlers in the bracket. There are twelve seeded wrestlers in each weight class and the rest are placed by a random draw. Losers in the first round are sent over to the consolation bracket where they will face a win or go home scenario.Add Comment -

The Division 1, 2013 NCAA Wrestling Championships, in Des Moines, IA, will be aired by ESPN once again. Their contract with D-1 NCAA wrestling extends through 2024. ESPN will be airing every session on ESPN, ESPNU, ESPN3, and WatchESPN. The full coverage will include First Round, Second Round, Quarterfinal, Semifinal, Medal Round and Final match from the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
