This past weekend the Williams Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota hostedthe National Wrestling Coaches Association Cliff Keen National Duals Mat Mayhem semi-finals and finals. Numbertwo seed, Iowa, and number three, Minnesota, six,Missouri, andnumber one,Oklahoma State battled it out in the final two rounds on Saturday. In the Semi-finalsnumber two,Iowa Hawkeyes battled with the Minnesota Golden Gophers, a fight that the Golden Gophers prevailed by a team score of 22-15. Iowa won the first two matches, putting up nine points with a decision and pin fall.

The Office of Luther Strange, Attorney General (AG)of Alabama filed papers in State Court in Elmore Countyyesterday, Feb. 19,against the Poarch Band of Creek Indians who currently operate casinos in Atmore, Montgomery and Wetumpka, Ala. The AG’s Office states that the casinos are a nuisance to the surrounding areas and their electronic bingo machines are against Alabama State law. Not long ago the AG’s Office filed charges in Federal Court and lost and now these new charges were filed in hopes to shut down all three casinos.
