April 13th is quickly becoming a memorable day on the calendar for Eric Chang. Serving as the date of his kickboxing debut in 2012, Chang is now set to make his amateur mixed martial arts debut exactly one year later at King Of The Cage "Lights Out" in Lac Du Flambeau. "Lights Out" will be the first opportunity for Chang to add experience to his young fighting career, which is just underway. The New Brunswick, New Jersey native who spent the majority of his life in Green Bay Wisconsin will also celebrate a twenty-fifth birthday before he steps into the cage April 13th. Julio Gallegos Gets Curtain Call at XFC 23 Versus Dom Steele on AXStv
Xtreme Fighting Championships next nationally televised event Live on AXStv will be April 19 for XFC 23: Louisville Slugfest and included in the event is a middleweight bout between Dominique Steele and XFC favorite Gerardo Julio Gallegos. Gallegos returns to the XFC cage for the first time in over a year, looking to bring the fans in his home state of Kentucky and those watching on AXStv yet another exciting fight. The Reaction MMA middleweight brings a pro record of (6-3) into the bout, following two consecutive wins. NCAA Wrestling D1 Championship Finals: Taylor vs. Dake to Conclude the Finals
The NCAA Division One Wrestling National Championships finals in Des Moines, Iowa, are setting up to be one for the ages. The great line up from 125-pounds up to heavyweight is going to bring action packed finals on ESPN. This year in the finals eleven wrestlers have been finalists and eight of them have won a national championship. The NCAA has decided to conduct the order of the finals in a unique way created solely for the finals of the division one championships. The finals will follow the following weight class order: 174, 184, 197, 285, 125, 133, 141, 149, 157 and 165. The new order has been highly appreciated by fans and especially the heavyweight wrestlers. -
Lights Out At Wells Fargo Arena During NCAA D1 Wrestling Semi-Finals
The NCAA released a statement about the power outage that occurred during the Session 4 Division 1 Wrestling Championships. “Safety is our number one priority for the student-athletes and fans. We are in communication with Mid-American Energy to determine the cause. We know that it was not isolated to Wells Fargo Arena.” Global Spectrum Operations said. Once the lights went out the fans all let out a gasp of air in concern. Since the wrestling continued with no interruptions the fans became quickly unconcerned. -

NCAA Wrestling Championships: Penn State Seeking Back-to-Back-to-Back Titles Under Cael Sanderson.
Des Moines, IA- Entering the championship consolation rounds on the final day of competition Penn State University has a commanding lead over the second place team Oklahoma State. PSU owns a 30.5 point lead over the Cowboys with 114.5. The top five teams after four sessions are as the following; Penn State University with 114.5, Oklahoma State at 94, Minnesota is in third with 86 points, Iowa at fourth with 68 points, and Cornell is in fifth owning 51 points. Penn State sent five wrestlers into the finals where they will wrestle for the title tonight on ESPN. At 125-pounds Nicholas Megaludis returns to the finals for the second year in a row. The NCAA Division One Wrestling National Championships at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, continues to prove each round is worth the price of admission. The tournament is a three day event starting Thursday March 21 and ending Saturday night March 23. Each match is a must see event experience that only your own eyes can bring to life.
