Randy Couture Seminar with the Fox Valley Grappling Club
UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture was in Wisconsin this past weekend to help support the Menasha High School wrestling team and provide an MMA seminar. The Fox Valley Grappling Clubs Ken Popelka, who is also the coach of Menashas wrestling team, organized the seminar. Popelka, an accomplished and decorated wrestler himself, was teammates with Couture on the All-Army wrestling team from 1985 to 1988.Add Comment -

Adjectives for KTK 21: Impressive, well done, fantastic and damned entertaining. This Eau Claire show featured three title fights, great match-ups, former UFC Champ Sean Sherk, Nick The Goat Thompson, three live bands and an astonishingly large amount of goatees. Lets not forget Adrian Serrano teaching some moves and giving advice and a motorcycle competition that ended up with an unlikely winner as well. -

The Ultimate Fighter 7: A different twist
The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale takes place this Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada. Below the fold is a fight card with the bouts that will take place at the Pearl at the Palms. The UFC promised us some twists that have never happened and a finalist getting kicked off the show is certainly a new twist. Another twist that may not be as large as JT Money getting the boot for going on a drunken crusade through a Fertitta owned casino is that many of the cast members of the show did not make the finale. Here are my thoughts -
Pound For Pound: Movin' On Up
As they say in the Big Lebowski, Sometimes, theres a man. That man is Anderson Silva, who, bored with just ripping out and eating the soul of every middleweight this side of Okami or Bisping, makes makes his light heavyweight debut on July 19 (hmm, isnt there another show on the 19th? I think its supposed to be a big deal, too). Its kind of an unfortunate match up for James Irvin, who accomplishes very little if he decisively beats Silva, but a great entry level opponent for Silva. The middleweight champion intends to fight in both weight divisions. This new chapter is not only a blessing for pretty much the entire middleweight division, but for the fans. Theres not a damned thing wrong wit... -
