As Demetrious Johnson and Ian McCall go to battle for a second time on Friday in their headlining fight on FX, Pennsylvania native Charlie Brenneman also prepares for war.

Brenneman, a welterweight training out of AMA Fight Club in Whippany, N.J., recently published a video blog on YouTube showing how he is preparing the co-main event against Erick Silva on June 8.

Brenneman said that he started his day by visiting Don Messing and No Limits Personal Training in East Stroudsburg, PA. No Limits caters a fitness and diet regimen specifically around each client's needs.

Brenneman earned his Master's Degree in Sport Management at East Stroudsburg University, and frequents the area quite often, also training at Chamber MMA, the Pocono's premier mixed martial arts facility.

From there Brenneman traveled east to New York where he trained some no-gi jiu-jitsu at Renzo Gracie's Academy. It was there that Brenneman trained 30 minutes of techniques and then five, five-minute rounds.

After training "The Spaniard" took some much needed time off to attend a Yankees game. The following morning Brenneman was back in the Garden State at AMA for another training session, and then back to PA to No Limits.

The Spaniard then gave credit to former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar when he said that he believes Frankie is the only one who pushes his body harder than him.

At one point in the video Brenneman appears completely out of breath and attempts to get his message out...."This (heavy breathing) is what (heavy breathing) pushing your body (heavy breathing) to the absolute limit (heavy breathing) looks like," he said.

Brenneman then again confirmed that, "nobody pushes their body harder than I push this body," he said.

While there really was not much action in the video at all you do get an inside look at how a competitor who is not yet on the verge of becoming a mainstream fighter prepares for an upcoming fight.

Brenneman certainly holds the advantage in wrestling over Silva, but the edge in striking might go to Silva. It will be interesting to what Brenneman does once he gets the Brazilian to the ground.

USCS Fight Prediction: Brenneman via unanimous decision
