Fedor Emelianenko Dominates Pedro Rizzo at 'M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Rizzo' in Russia (VIDEO)
If today's performance was the last for Fedor Emelianenko it was a good one. The Russian legend dominated former UFC heavyweight contender Pedro Rizzo at "M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Rizzo" in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Looking for his third straight victory since suffering a three-fight losing streak at the hands of Fabricio Werdum, Antonio Silva, and Dan Henderson –the only losing streak of Fedor's entire career – "The Last Emperor" looked as sharp as ever ending Rizzo's night just 84-seconds into the first round.
It is still undetermined as to whether or not Emelianenko will continue to compete within mixed martial arts in the near future; but judging by his most recent performance we sure hope that he does.
The win improved the Ruusian's legendary record to 34-4, with one no contest. The former PRIDE superstar is considered by many as the greatest heavyweight to ever compete within the sport of mixed martial arts.
In a career loaded with accomplishments and highlight performances, Emelianenko's demolition of Rizzo should remind fans just how dominant the 35-year-old has been throughout his career. Enjoy the video below of Emelianenko vs. Rizzo.
