SUPERIOR, Wi., Nov. 3 -- The Superior High School gymnasium transformed into a martial arts training camp on Saturday, led by MMA superstars Jeff Monson, Hermes Franca, Shonie Carter, Dave Menne and Brock Larson. All proceeds were donated to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.

    A variety of techniques, from heel hooks to Judo throws, were demonstrated over the course of the seven-hour event. Fight fans were also treated to autograph and photo sessions, as well as a silent auction featuring t-shirts and training gear. 

    Host and resident martial arts instructor Rob Mrotek reported that this year's seminar was record-breaking for the Seminar of Champions series and raised $6,103.27 for charity.
