XFC 22 Main Event: Lightweights Jason Hicks vs Scott Holtzma...

The next in line to lightweight title contention for the Xtreme Fighting Championships is about to be discovered live on national television Feb., 22 as two undefeated rising stars face off in the main event of XFC 22: Crossing the Line. Open fighter tryout winner Jason "The Ronin" Hicks (5-0) will take on X-series tournament winner Scott "Hot Sauce" Holtzman (3-0) live on AXStv called by none other than Michael "The Voice" Schiavello and the legend that is Pat Miletich. The winner of this fight will face the current Lightweight Champion  "Notorious" Nick Newell (9-0) who defeated Eric "Its a Wrap" Reynolds (16-6) at XFC 21: Night of Champions II.

During the morning staff meeting XFC President John Prisco said this of the matchup. "This fight I have wanted to see more than any other potential match up within the XFC roster. Hicks vs Holtzman is a classic, regarding their fighting styles. You have the raw power and unbelievable athleticism of Scott Holtzman, against one the most cagey, well rounded 155 pound fighters the XFC has, Jason Hicks. I have been a huge fan of both since they came into the XFC and I knew their paths would cross sooner or later, now is the time!  I only predict one thing regarding this fight, it will be a WAR !"
