SportFight X Returns July 28 with Daniel O'Brien vs. Kendrick Miree in Main Event
SportFight X is making their way back to Birmingham on July 28 at the Boutwell Auditorium. SFX released their newest fight card and it will be a show southern fight fans will not want to miss.
SFX owner Adam Gibbs called the upcoming event, "the best fights we've ever had and we had had some great ones in the past." The night's main event features a middleweight showdown between BJJ black belt Daniel O'Brien and Atlanta's American Top Team prospect Kendrick Miree.
The co-main event is a featured featherweight bout amongst Triad Gym's Stephen Wilhite and Florida's up-and-coming featherweight Chad Livingston who will be making his pro debut on the card.
Middleweights Matt Ward from North Alabama's Huntsville Area will make also make his professional debut challenging Allen Little from Georgia. Ward trains with Triad so this will definitely be a Triad Team night of action.
In the bantamweight division Anthony Riddick from the Champions MMA out of Birmingham will take on Thomas Thompson of Georgia. Also in the 135-pound class Elliott Conn from Cage MMA will challenge Casey Colston of Toe 2 Toe. This will also be a Team night for Cage MMA as many of their teammates will be fighting.
In the heavyweight division Joshua Robertson from Spartan Fitness of Birmingham, challenges Austin Gaurino from Iron Clutch of Georgia. In the light heavyweight division former Alabama football player and National Champion Eryk Anders from Birmingham will fight Nathan Gaylord of Georgia.
In the lightweight class Craig McAlpine from Cage MMA out of Birmingham will challenge Eric Neal of Rocket City MMA out of Huntsville. In the featherweight division Anthony Hoyt from Spartan Fitness will take on Raul Estrada fighting out of Rocket City MMA. Also in the featherweight division American Top Team's Keaton Wood will challenge Noah Parsons from Cage MMA. Featherweights Daniel Whisenant of Triad will challenge Billy Joe Bradshaw from Spartan fitness. And finally in the welterweight class Seth Garvin of Spartan Fitness will challenge Joseph Blackman Triad.
SportFight X has some great matches on the books and still may be adding to this incredible lineup. It seems like a great showing from Rocket City MMA, Triad, Cage MMA and Spartan Fitness among other great gyms representing the South. This is the first time for SFX at the Boutwell and it will be one for the record books for sure.
