  • NCAA Wrestling Championship - Photo Highlights

    The NCAA Division One Wrestling National Championships at the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, continues to prove each round is worth the price of admission. The tournament is a three day event starting Thursday March 21 and ending Saturday night March 23.

    Each match is a must see event experience that only your own eyes can bring to life. Here is a little taste we captured throughout the NCAA tournament.

    While there could have been more butts in the seats on Thursday night in Green Bay the action inside the cage was frantic as the Rogue Warrior Championships invaded the Oneida Casino.

    Grapplers from different parts of the United States met in Las Vegas on Saturday for the annual NAGA Vegas championship. Competitors were matched against each other according to skill level, ranging from novice to expert.

    The tournament encourages competitors of all ages to compete. Each skill division is also organized into weight classes.

    On Saturday night fight fans piled into the event center at Sugar Creek Casino in Hinton, Oklahoma for Showdown at Sugar Creek 9.

    The night was originally set to feature three professional title fights with all three fights including American Top Team Oklahoma City fighters.   • R-1 MMA Training Center - Photo Highlights

    Earlier this month UFC fighter and Oklahoma native Matt Grice was able to see his long time dream come to life. Alongside business partner Brandon Shinn, Grice was able to open R-1 MMA. R-1 MMA is place that Grice hopes will be the home of both professional fighter and soccer mom.

    The gym features a full schedule of classes ranging from MMA, wrestling, jiu jitsu, and muay thai all the way to women's cardio kickboxing and kids classes. Alongside fellow trainers King of the Cage fighter Ryan McCurdy and Strikeforce/Bellator fight Chad Leondhardt, Grice is doing his part to provide some of the best combat sports training in Oklahoma.

    US Combat Sports recently caught up with Grice and Leondhardt for a night of women's and kid's classes. These are the photo highlights.

    Over the weekend King of the Cage descended upon Norman, Oklahoma for the second time this year with King Of The Cage "Steel Curtain". This card was stock full of Oklahoma talent and no one left disappointed.

    This past weekend American Top Team Oklahoma City (ATT OKC) hosted a gi and no-gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Seminar with Rodrigo Botti. Botti, the jiu jitsu coach for Drysdale Jiu Jitsu in Las Vegas, is a longtime friend of ATT OKC owner and instructor Giulliano Gallupi and a very accomplished jiu jitsu practitioner as well as undefeated mixed martial arts fighter.
