USCS Best of Awards: Sherron Leggett Earns Wisconsin's Knockout of the Year With a Brutal Slam Over Anderson
The view from the top must have been so much better than the view from the bottom for Sherron "Rob Roy" Leggett. For those unfamiliar with Leggett's stint within World Extreme Cagefighting, the former Agallar Combative Systems fighter suffered a brutal slam on his head back in 2007 at WEC 29 against Jamie Varner that led to a first round TKO defeat. But the loss didn't come without Leggett learning a lesson or two. Fully reminiscent of the slam, "Rob Roy" turned the tables last year within the first round of the Combat USA lightweight tournament against Dennis Anderson by using a very similar maneuver that would earn him the victory and the USCS Knockout of the Year.
