    You the fans of U.S. Combat Sports were given the opportunity to cast your vote for the Fight of the Year 2013 and the winner was unanimous coming in at almost 38 percent between the seven choices provided. The result in the outcome of the UFC light heavyweight stint between champion Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson in September may have rubbed a few fans the wrong way, however, the fight was named USCS’s 2013 Fight of the Year.

    At UFC 168 “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey proved to the mixed martial arts world that she is more than a one trick pony. Rousey defeated Miesha Tate squashing the rivalry between the two bantamweight fighters during the co-main event. Rousey tossed Tate around the cage for three rounds before finally submitting her via arm bar. The former 2008 Olympic Judo bronze medalist showed her far superior grappling skills throughout the entire bout.

    The last UFC event before the New Year will be a historical event. UFC 168: Weidman vs. Silva 2 will attract mixed martial arts fans from all over the world. The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV will play host to what is being hyped as the bigest fight card inthe organization's history.UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman takes on former UFC champion and legend Anderson Silva. Weidman delivered a shocking boom to the jaw of Silva forcing his eyes to roll to the back of his head ending the fight. Instantly after Weidman was crowned the king of the middle weights, Silva fans were finding themselves in denial. Weidman improved to a perfect 10-0 record and dropped Silva to 33-5.
  • OPINION: Expect Rousey to Walk Through Tate At UFC 168... Again.

    As the end of the 2013 fight season approaches, Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva will enter the octagon for the second time on December 28. Before they shut the cage door for the main event, co-main event is for the Women’s Bantamweight title between Ronda Rousey and challenger Miesha Tate. The champion, Rousey is looking to defend her belt for the second time in the UFC. The co-main event will be a rematch between Tate (13-4) and Rousey (7-0) when they enter the cage for the belt. In the first bout, “Rowdy” Rousey defeated Tate by her infamous arm bar submission in the first round.
