  • Dana White UFC on FOX Chicago Vlog Day 2

For the UFC on FOX Chicago Video Blog 2 Dana White lands in Chicago and goes full force. He starts off his media frenzy with a stop on the local show Good Day Chicago.

Then we are ushered into some behind the scenes of the pre-fight press conference. Apparently Dana White looks jacked and Chael Sonnen got a UFC belt off of eBay. Rashad Evans can’t beat Phil Davis in thumb wrestling and Sonnen sounds off like a WWE wrestler. All that and more from Dana himself.

  • UFC on FOX 2: Michael Bisping and Phil Davis Have Great Shot at Ruining Two Marketable Dream Matchups

Tomorrow night will feature two major UFC fights to determine title contenders for both the light heavyweight and middleweight title picture.

First, Chael Sonnen will do battle with England’s Michael “The Count” Bisping for the next shot at Anderson Silva’s 185-pound belt.

And in the main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad “Sugar” Evans will take on undefeated Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis with the winner moving on to challenge light heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones.

It would appear as if, especially if you follow the discussions online, that fans are eager to see both Sonnen and Evans declared the victors because of their past issues with the two current champions. But outcomes don't always pan out the way fans hope.

  • Win a Date With a UFC Fighter or Ring Girl Through Charity Auction

How would you like to win a date with UFC Hall of Famer Chuck "The Iceman” Liddell?  Not your thing, huh?

Well, how about a date with ring girls Chandella Powell, Natasha Wicks or Stephanie Cook?

The second annual “It Aint Chemo” Celebrity Auction will be held at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas right after the official weigh-ins for UFC 143.

  • UFC on FOX 2: Dustin Jacoby More Prepared Than Ever for Chris Camozzi

Dustin Jacoby is looking to even his record in the UFC this weekend as he takes on The Ultimate Fighter veteran Chris Camozzi. Both guys are coming off a loss and have everything to prove in the organization’s very deep and competitive middleweight division.

Following his UFC debut loss to Clifford Starks at UFC 137, it appeared that nerves may have gotten the best of Jacoby in the fight.  But that wasn’t entirely the case according to his head coach and trainer Marc Fiore.

“Dustin had suffered a leg injury the week leading up to the fight.  We initially thought he would be able to fight through it, but once things got started, you could tell it was a problem.” Fiore explained.

  • Defense Soap: The Ultimate Combat Athlete Soap

With all of the dangers we are forced to deal with from our participation in combat sports it’s hard to believe there is anything more dreadful than getting submitted, injured, or knocked out. But lurking in gyms across the country is an enemy far more menacing than the individual you face-off with on the mats.

Skin diseases like Ringworm, Staph, MRSA, and Herpes have been an ongoing battle that athletes have had to contend with over the years that have resulted in serious health problems causing skin irritation, hospitalization, and even death. Luckily for us, as we are taught in training for every offense, there is a defense to counteract the opponent.

  • Dana White UFC On FOX Video Blog: Trash Talk, Men Kissing Men, And Upcoming Predictions

Dana White released this week’s first UFC on Fox Chicago Video Blog. Watch the UFC on Fox Chicago press conference as Michael Bisping and Chael Sonnen take their shots at Anderson Silva and Dana White reminds everyone of Primetime: Nick Diaz and Carlos Condit this Friday on FX.

  • Don't Be That Guy: Do’s and Don’ts of Being a MMA Fighter

Amateur or pro, we have all been to events where a guy walks into the cage and the first thought that goes through our head is,“this guy has no clue.” In our second installment of “Do’s and Don’ts” we will look at things you just don’t do as a fighter if you want to be taken seriously.

First things first, unless you are in the UFC, the only people most likely to watch you weigh-in are other fighters, coaches and promoters. So, save the Batman underwear that you can’t wait to sport while on the scale.  And if you do make it to the big show and wear superhero drawers, there is a good chance that you will receive a very inappropriate nickname from the veterans in which you may never shake.
