    The Division 1, 2013 NCAA Wrestling Championships, in Des Moines, IA, will be aired by ESPN once again. Their contract with D-1 NCAA wrestling extends through 2024. ESPN will be airing every session on ESPN, ESPNU, ESPN3, and WatchESPN. The full coverage will include First Round, Second Round, Quarterfinal, Semifinal, Medal Round and Final match from the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. The NCAA Division 1 Wrestling Championships take place March 21-23, 2013, in Des Moines, IA, at the Wells Fargo Arena.

    The three-time NCAA national Champion, Kyle Dake, advances to his conference tournament championship finals. Dake looks to defend his Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association title. Dake won the title back in 2010, and then again last season in 2012. Cornell’s Big Red wrestler is ranked number one in the country at 165-pounds. Dake earned his schools record for most pins in a season (18), when he pinned the first two wrestlers in the EIWA conference tournament. The Big Red wrestler pinned Princeton’s Judson Ziegler in 1:23. Then Dake pinned American University’s Phillip Barrerio in the quarter-finals at 1:43.
  • Chris Wade Earns Opportunity On NBC Sports' World Series of Fighting Vs. Ozzy Dugulubgov

    Mixed Martial Arts lightweight prospect Chris Wade, earned the opportunity to fight on the World Series of Fight 2 card. WSOF is a MMA promotion that was signed by NBC Sports Network for a three-year deal after their trial run in November. Headlining the WSOF 2 is former UFC fighters Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Andre Arlovski. On March 23, 2013, WSOF attacks Atlantic City, New Jersey, with exciting fights including co-main event between Tyson Nam and Marlon Moraes. The fights kick off live on NBC Sports at 9:30 eastern standard time. Wade’s first bout in WSOF is up against the 3-1 Ozzy Dugulubgov.
