An Eye for ‘Talent’ - Belcher Tweets Photo of Injury
This past Saturday night at UFC 159, middleweight contender Alan ‘the Talent’ Belcher sustained an unfortunate injury to his previously damaged eye, calling an end to his contest with England’s Michael ‘the Count’ Bisping just 29 seconds before the fight would have concluded and gone to the judges for a decision. The fight at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey was declared a “technical decision” in favor of Bisping due to the fight being sent to the fate of the judges and referee Herb Dean not allowing Belcher to continue. -

Strikehard Crowns New Ring Card Girl
The Strikehard Productions ring card girl competition in Tuscaloosa came to a close last Saturday after two weeks of preliminaries as SHP crowned Jessica Roden asthe new SHP ring card girl. This was the first time SHP has done a ring girl completion and it was a huge success. With a great team behind them including sponsors like Budweiser Black Crown, Throat Punch Ind., Ring Girlz of MMA and Piel Photography this was an incredible three week ride that ended in SHP crowning a new ring girl. An incredible group of ladies came out to participate and the turnout was awesome with a great support from fans of the sport in Tuscaloosa.
