  • Triple A to Feature No-Gi Super Fight Mulhern vs Lanier

    Orthrus Promotions has added an exciting twist to their latest Triple A MMA V card: Redemption at the Rock March 29th at the Camel Rock Casino in Tesuque.

    Quinn Mulhern will face Josh Lanier in a submission only No-Gi grappling match with $500 prize money to the winner.

  • Holly Holm Faces Her Toughest MMA Opponent Yet April 4th at Legacy 30

    Holm, top female pound-for-pound boxer in the world, turned in her boxing resignation last year, to pursue MMA full time.  She is currently undefeated as a mixed martial artist, and is now set to fight for her first MMA belt, for Legacy Fighting Championship.  Legacy, in conjunction with Fresquez Productions, has set the date for their first ever female title fight, on April 4, 2014, taking place at Route 66 Casino Hotel, just west of Albuquerque, NM.

    “This will most likely be Holly’s last fight in Albuquerque” was a phrase repeated by both promoters, Mick Maynard (Legacy Fighting) and Lenny Fresquez (Holm’s personal promoters) and Holm’s coach Mike Winkeljohn.

  • Return of the Warrior Streaming Live Saturday from Buffalo Thunder

    There's nothing quite like the sights and sounds of a live Boxing show and some tickets are still available for "Return of the Warrior."  But for those who can't make it to Saturdays show it will be streamed live at starting at 7:00pm for viewers outside the Santa Fe area.

    In the Main Event of the evening Espanola’s Tony “The Warrior” Valdez will take on Albuquerque’s Jaime “El Fama” Gutierrez, in a six round war that is sure to keep fight fans on the edge of their seats! In the co-Main Event Santa Fe’s own Brandon Holmes will go to toe-to-toe with Albuquerque’s Brandon Munoz.

  • Meet Johny Hendrix at Triple A MMA Caged Hostility

    Orthrus Promotions has announced that UFC #1 Welterweight contender JohnyHendricks, will be attending the Triple A MMA IV ‘Caged Hostility’ event this week in Forth Worth, TX. 

    Fans in attendance will have the unique opportunity to meet Hendrix during a special meet and greet session at the Triple A MMA booth during the event. Triple A MMA ‘Caged Hostility’ will take place this Thursday (Jan. 16) at the historic Stockyard Rodeo Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, TX. Doors open at 6pm. Fights begin at 7pm.

  • Rocktagon MMA Heads to El Paso January 17th With an All Pro Show

  • Triple A MMA Presents Caged Hostility at the Historic Fort Worth Stockyard

    Orthrus Promotions has scheduled their first event of 2014, "Triple A MMA IV: Caged Hostility," presented by Budweiser at The Historic Stockyards/Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, on Thursday, January 16th, 2014.  This event will feature top talent from around the Dallas-Fort Worth area and the Southwest United States. The media and public are invited to attend a press conference for Caged Hostility Thursday December 19th at the Stockyard Coliseum at 2:00pm.

  • Jacksons Gym Helps Raise Bar on Donations for Shooting Victim Deputy Hopkins

    Jackson’s MMA and the Bernalillo County Deputies’ Association announced that they have reached their goal of raising ten thousand dollars for Deputy Robin Hopkins. Jackson credits the generosity of over 120 donors, who achieved this in just one week.

    Due to the overwhelming support and because donations continue to pour in for “Fighting for Robin,” they have decided to raise the goal to fifteen thousand dollars.
